In Alaska, a 25-year-old woman named Ama decides to take a trip to the West Coast, a dreamed destination since she was eight. But in the blizzard she falls from exhaustion and loses consciousness. Ama then plunges into an near-death experience in which she observes her childhood memories, especially her encounter with a young wolf.
